Roles and access
Understand your Client, Location, and active role.
Access is tied to both a role and its scope. The same person can have more than one role assignment; selecting the correct active role and workspace is part of every administrative workflow.
The organization model
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Client | The club organization. Shared resources such as skin licenses and the advertising media library belong to a Client. |
| Location | A venue within a Client, with its own timezone and scheduled classes. |
| Station | A training account/device operating within an assigned Location. Skin selection and advertising assignment are configured per Station. |
| Member | A member account with a relationship to a Client and access to permitted Locations. Membership does not automatically grant access to every Location. |
Choose the right role
| Role | Responsibilities in these guides |
|---|---|
| Accuro Admin | Select the intended Client from Platform scope; manage Class Scheduler access and paid skin authorization. |
| Club Admin | Manage scheduling and eligible Station settings across the Client; maintain the club's shared advertising media and playlists. |
| Location Admin | Work within assigned Locations, including scheduling and permitted Station configuration. Shared advertising media and playlists are not editable with this role. |
| Station operator | Prepare training, check in members, select eligible skins, and verify advertising on the iPad and external display. |
| Member | Find eligible classes, make and cancel permitted bookings, and review personal activity. |
This table summarizes the documented workflows; it is not an exhaustive permissions matrix.
Feature availability is separate from your role
Class Scheduler requires its own Client Add-on. Cloud mode alone does not enable scheduling.
Paid Station skins use separate, per-skin Client licenses. Skin licensing is not configured through Add-ons. Activating a license makes a skin eligible; it does not change every Station's saved choice.
Station advertising does not have a separate advertising Add-on in the documented workflow. The Station assignment, local settings, and media readiness still control whether it can play.
When an action is unavailable
- Confirm the active role and the selected Client and Location.
- Check the feature's authorization or license where applicable.
- Check the current class or Station state and any time window.
- Read the specific message shown by the application before retrying.
For task-specific restrictions, follow the feature guides.
